Apparently it was attacked by bookworms--few areas inside has sign of burrowing, same is true for hardcover's front side. The front area of the hardcover is at the beginning phase of separation. Please handle with care. Despite imperfections mentioned above, the book is still beautiful. Main binding is intact.

Front and rear endpapers browned, occasional light spotting in the text, else a near fine copy in original maroon cloth ruled in blind on the covers and lettered in gilt on the spine, top edge gilt, fore-edge untrimmed. Thick quarto. 8.25 x 11.25 in. 542 pp. A lovely copy.
