Gray cloth, titles stamped in black between red bands on the cover and spine, front endpaper map by the author: leaf edges minimally age toned, otherwise crisp and bright with clean square covers and solid binding. In the two-color photo-illustrated dust jacket with price $5.75 intact on the front flap with two clips: spine color moderately sunned, head a tad worn. Journalist Sundborg's lively story features Ephrata settler Jim O'Sullivan, whom he had met in 1945. Dust jacket preserved in a removable clear archival sleeve. .
