Moderate bumping to corners and fair crushing to spine ends as well.

A lively collection of 4 lectures given by Ruskin which were 'critiques both of contemporary [ Victorian ] culture and of the society that produced that culture' [DNB]. The essays were delivered as lectures in 1866.
