Description:
London: Stockdale, 1807. Paperback. Good. Disbound. The three dialogues by "Polypus" are a 12th edition, the fourth dialogue appears to be a first edition. Lacks any preliminary pages and Dialogue the Fourth lacks frontispiece. A previous owner has filled in the names that are left blank or that have only initials in the Three Dialogues but not the Fourth, which we find helpful and not at all a detraction. Barrett was an Irish author who composed mainly satirical verse.
