A small magazine measuring 5-1/8" by 7-1/4" and containing 330 pages including front and rear covers. PLEASE NOTE: Humboldt Publishing obtained copies of the first printing (1891) from Benjamin R. Tucker of "The Anarchists: A Picture of Civilization at the Close of the Nineteenth Century" by John Henry Mackay - to which this issue is entirely devoted - removed the outer covers (leaving the title and copyright page, photo frontispiece of the author, and all text intact) - and added their own covers, front and rear, along with advertisements. Boston: Benj. R. Tucker, Publisher, 1891. Paperback. x, 305p., paperback cover has the imprint: New York, Humboldt Publishing Co., 1894. It appears that Humboldt Publishing purchased Tucker's original sheets for the book and reissued it with a new outer cover. The cover has a couple of edge chips and stains, textblock very good.
