Description:
London: King's Printer / Eyre and Spottiswoode, 1931. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jackets. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 1,004 pp. Tightly bound. Lower corners are bumped on volume I. In volume I, I noticed some pages with short erasable vertical pencil lines in the page margins. Owner's bookplate on front paste downs. No dust jackets. Missing the slipcase. The cloth on the spines of all three volumes shows gray instead of the blue on the front and back of the boards from fading and age toning. Some age toning / mottling to end papers. Some foxing to page edges. This, the first complete edition of Lord Hervey's Memoirs, is limited to 900 copies. This set is number 255. 255 / 900.
