The covers show light scuffing, edge-wear, and light rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The spine shows light scuffing, toning, and a few small speckled damp-stain spots. There is a small tear to the top of the lower joint. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and generally clean, but with light scattered foxing. There is a nice frontispiece illustration, and an extra engraved title-page. There is a small bookplate at the front which is Signed "Wm. H. Warner, 1844." .
