Name and address of former owner on front end page is accompanied by date of March 8, 1902; 286 p., clean and otherwise unmarked, but back end page is missing; paper strong and only mildly age-toned; binding firm; sepia boards with black lettering on still clear gilt banner and pastedown on spine, black and gilt Art Nouveau decoration have two faint stains on rear board; corners lightly bumped and crown and foot of spineslightly rubbed.

Clerkenwell, Close, London: Knight and Son, 1852. Hardcover. Very Good. 24mo - over 5 - 5¾" tall. Bound in cloth with the title and price in gilt on the front cover and the spine decorated in gilt. Volume measures 5 1/8 inches by 3 1/4 inches. Presentation on the verse of the title page. Index at rear. Illustrated with numerous text illustrations. Number in ink on the bottom of the title page, otherwise the interior is clean. The cloth over the boards has separated in some areas and the front cover has a minor stain near the bottom. A charming miniature book.
