This copy is only in fair condition - the binding is worn (heavily rubbed, lacks the leather covering from the lower half of the spine), the endpapers are foxed, and there is staining to the upper corner of the first 50 pages.

A school copy of Golsmith's much reprinted history. The section covering the Roman period to George II covers the first 263pp, the continuation to 1842 takes up the remaining 130pp.
