According to Dorothy Hughes' biography of Gardner, Noni Bibler was one of Gardner's early assistants, and as the inscription indicates, took down much of this novel from dictation. Very slightly cocked, else Very Good plus in a Very Good dust jacket with small chips at the extremities and some of the usual color-fading to the pink spine title.
