A very good copy indeed, with only very minimal rubbing to the corners, all lettering and cover illustrations very bright and clear, a little mottling along the bevelled edge of the top board, and corners slightly pushed inwards. Internally very clean throughout with no foxing etc.Previous owner's name at the top of the half title page in ink. The binding is very firm with no loose hinges, and no split endpapers.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Wal Paget.
