1884. MORSE, Edw. S. FIRST BOOK OF ZOOLOGY, N.Y.: D. Appleton & Co., 1882. Sm. 8vo., leather spine, brown cloth stamped and gilt. xiv, 190pp. + ads. Many textual illustrations. A reprint of the second edition (the first and second editions had originally appeared in 1875). This textbook for young people is suprisingly scarce. There is a small ownership stamp on the flyleaf, the spine is chipped. Otherwise a very good copy.
