New York, Chicago, San Francisco: Rand McNally & Company, Windemere Series, (1930). Octavo (9.25" x 7"), x & 547 pages plus 8 color plates. Publisher's gilt-lettered blue cloth with a large color illustration applied to the front cover.
Edges very slightly rubbed, trace of wear at corners, small booksellers' label at the rear pastedown, otherwise a fine copy.
Alexandre Dumas' greatest work enhanced by the delightful illustrations of Milo Winter, this a spectacular copy from publisher Rand McNally's illustrious Windermere series.

All with illustrations by Edy Legrand, translated into English from the original French. --- All three volumes in decorated yellow cloth-covered boards and housed in gold paper-covered slipcases. All textblock edges stippled. All pages with two text columns and ruled borders. Two of the three books with Sandglass leaflet laid in ("Twenty Years After" lacks one). --- The books are in great shape: unmarked, tightly-bound, and bright though with mild rippling to leaves on "Musketeers." Slipcases with considerable rubbing, all three are structurally sound. (NOTE: Due to the weight of this item, extra shipping charges may be requested for shipments beyond the U.S.) ; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; xiv, 421, xiv, 496, xiv, 430 pages .
