Contains Dickens' story "A Christmas Tree", contained in "The Christmas Number" Dec. 21, 1850. Paper in healthy condition and very readable. Original binding in attractive condition though with some wear.; 8vo .

Half leather with marbled boards. Front board very loose. Spine torn and head chipped. Moderate wear elsewhere. Text block good but could use a rebind.

Bound in dark green half-leather over green marbled boards, raised bands with gilt trim, title/volume/date in gilt. This volume includes the first appearance of the major novel 'HARD TIMES in all twenty parts. This copy is very good or better with light rubbing and soiling to the boards and page edges. This volume contains the novel in 20 parts. A very good or better copy.

A very good copy, with a three-quarter inch tear in the cloth at the bottom of the front outer joint, the forecorners of the covers are somewhat bumped and worn, and there is a white paint spot on the back cover about the size of a dime. The original patterned cloth is in good shape and the binding is tight. "Wrecked in Port" by Edmund Hodgson Yates is the featured novel in each issue. I do not know if it is complete,. First Edition in Book Form. Cloth. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
