First performed in 1952, The Mousetrap would become the longest running West End show of all time. This edition from 1990 marked the centenary of the birth of Agatha Christie.

Toning to edges of textblock and pages, rubbing to gilt, rolling and bumping to spine and corners, soiling to cloth, 1.5 x 2cm chip to crown of jacket spine, 2.5cm tear to base, wearing to edges, sunning to spine. Very good. Hercule Poirot is a passenger on board a flight from Paris to Croydon. Some time before landing, one of the passengers, a moneylender named Madame Giselle, is found dead. Initially, a reaction to a wasp sting is postulated, but Poirot spies the true cause of death: a poison-tipped dart, apparently fired from a blowpipe. It becomes clear that the victim has been murdered. This novel was first published in 1935 by Collins, and this later, vintage reprint was published in 1952.

Very good. A murdered government agent leaves a cryptic message, which Tommy and Tuppence Beresford must decipher; this is the third of five cases for the adventurous detective pair. This novel was first published in 1941 and this vintage hardcover reprint was produce ten years later in 1951 by the Collins Crime Club.
