Description:
NY: Knopf, 1935. First Thus . Mass Market Paperback. Unusual Knopf paperback edition, issued the year after the first hardcover edition. Red wraps with a cream colored spine title area, and a running combination of "Borzoi Books" and the Knopf colophon forming a border on both covers. There is no price anywhere on the book - perhaps this was some sort of promotional copy? Very good in original wraps, with slight loss of red color at the foot of the spine, and the spine is slightly cocked. Interior is clean and tight, with higher quality paper than most early paperback books
