Contemporary copies of Burnham's seminal work on capitalism in this condition are very scarce. Hardcover. 285pp. VG+/no dust jacket. Orange cloth boards in very good condition with minor discoloration and rounding at edges. Spine is strong, binding is tight. Pages are square, crisp, unmarked, with some toning at the edges. No evidence of foxing. Inside cover was signed by the owner, then covered by a bookplate. Shelf 1

Hardcover. ; Charcoal cloth cover has a 1/4" spot on front cover otherwise clean, bright, and in very good+ condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Page edges soiled and foxed. Pages are clean and near pristine. Dust jacket is soiled with a chip and tear to the spine panel and small chip along top edge of front panel but overall in good condition. Publisher's price of $2.50 on DJ flap. DJ protected by a brand new, clear, acid-free mylar cover. We add mylar covers to all books with DJs to preserve the DJs and add luster to magnify their beauty.
