Black endpapers. In the original mylar jacket, as issued. The true first edition, which preceded the American edition by a few years. Full page line drawings by Bukowski, done on grey paper. Inner contents clean and binding tight. Very minor rubbing to the bottom of the boards, else in near fine condition. very good The Paget Press published screenplay, written by Bukowski, for a film directed and produced by Barbet Schroeder and starring Faye Dunaway and Mickey Rourke. This film was loosely based on Bukowski's adventures and exploits during the 60s, 70s and 80s in Hollywood. This edition preceded the Black Sparrow Press publication by a few years, perhaps because the rights were owned by the director, Barbet Schroeder.
