Light cracking to gutters causing slight looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with noticeable tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

In this book the author writes of ordinary life in the centre of London in the first half of the 20th. Ct. and of the endurance of the citizens throughout two world wars. DW has been repaired.

This book is in very good condition; the dust jacket has wear and tears but is still intact. There is no date on this book, but from research it probably debuted in 1948.
