Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Cracking to gutters, no damage to end papers. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Silver lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing.
