This third volume in the History of California series covers the period of the Spanish Dons and first American pioneers. It has many interesting maps, photos and illustrations in color & B&W with 16 pages of full color reproductions. Original blue cloth covers with gilt spine lettering. This is a clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no owner names, and no bookplates. The dust jacket has a few marginal tears, and is separated at the rear fold over. ; History of California Series; Color & B&W Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 286 pages .
