Binding is sound and sturdy; edges and front end page margins lightly foxed; text, illustrations very good throughout; wear to edges of red cloth boards is minor, gilt titling remains bright and bold. Paper dust jacket is toned, lightly worn at edges with some tape 'repair' on verso; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar.
