Direct from the library of the late Hugh Selbourne MD (1906-1973) a noted book collector and diarist. With several full page illustrations and vignettes. In a full cloth binding. Externally, lovely with slight bumping to head and tail of spine. Ink stamp to recto of front endpaper J H Gilbert, Macclesfield. Internally, generally firmly bound though strained in places. Pages are slightly age toned with the odd spot throughout. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
