Light khaki-coloured original cloth boards trivially bumped on head, else undamaged. An original seller's sticker affixed to front pastedown, with adjacent ghosting on front free endpaper, else textblock unmarked. Illustrated (Starke) dustjacket nipped on fold corners, flecked on background areas, plus noticeable colour fade on spine. This collection of timeless Leslie Stake (1905-1974) cartoon illustrations have previously appeared in other publications, viz: New Yorker, Punch, Lilliput and Saturday Evening Post.
