Hardcover. Very Good. Approximately 160 decent-sized photos (generally about 10 x 7cm.) inserted two to a page in corner mounts. Generally very good detail other than on 6 yellowed photos. No captions and no name in the album. Photos have been removed from the last third of the album (presumably after he returned to the U.S. since the last 3 photos before all of the blank pages show three buddies and a couple of dead deer, one of which has been strapped to a car with a Massachusetts license plate. Modest-sized album (16 x 24cm.) in decent condition. An article from the Pacific Stars and Stripes is laid in about involvement of the 2nd Infantry Division in the rebuilding effort. One circled paragraph states that PFC Thomas Tippett and fellow surveyors 2nd Engineers in mapping the area, laid out roads and drainage patterns and marked sites for public buildings.
