The traveling festivities took over two weeks and treked from Tokyo to Kyoto. Meticulous planning begining a year in advance cost over 15 million dollars. Over four milllion was spent on infastructure. The photographs in this journal depict the royal guards and military in modern western dress. THE PAPER IS TONED AND DARKENED WITH AGE.
