Tired brown leather boards with title barely legible in gold on spine. Boards are rubbed, bumped and frayed throughout. Two inch separation at upper front hinge. One inch separation at upper rear hinge, as well as a 2 inch separation at lower rear hinge. First paste down is chipped and has previous owner pencil notations. Front hinge is cracked. First two inches of first free endpaper, which has soil/foxing and small holes, is loose. The rest of the text pages are intact. Second free endpaper has previous owner's name.
