Dust jacket has some large chips out at the top and bottom edges of jacket. Also some closed tears along the top edge. Jacket is also price clipped. Dust jacket is protected from further wear in an archival mylar DJ wrapper. No names, writing, or marks in the book. This book won the Caldecott Medal Award in 1955, the year of its publication. There is no emblem on the jacket. Binding is all original. Dust jacket is in Condition and Book is in Very Good condition. This is a story-song written more than 400 years ago in Scotland and brought to America when this country was first formed by immigrants from Europe.
