Original hardcover binding is browned sporadically from sunning, with a bump to the top of the rear board, and minor shelfwear and minor soiling. The original dustjacket is heavily chipped and rubbed on the spine, with numerous small tears and creases, and with moderate shelfwear; protected in archival mylar. Contains 25 illustrations and maps. Previous owner's name neatly on the front endpaper. The text is clean and unmarked. The endpapers are moderately foxed.
