Jacket has a one inch chip at to of front cover and a few very small ones here and there. Can be reglued with book glue as a project. Better than it sounds but strictly as is. B/W drawings. American telling of the Camelot tale for kids and reading aloud. Actually well written and fast moving. A rather exciting fight between Sir Pelinore and Arthur over a young page's bravely sticking to his principals is terrific. Merlin uses magic which is very Gandalf like here. 1918 First Edition copy . NO writing or underlines at least NOT a library copy. As is.
