Unpaginated. Hardcover. 4to. Beige cloth. 21 volumes contain about 70 copies of patents relating to development of sound reproduction. Includes Thomas Edison and other pioneers, covering c. late 1880s to c.1914. Each patent is generally 2 -4 pages, with an accompanying diagram. Each volume begins with a mimeographed table of contents, listing the patent number, date, and inventor or applicant. All volumes are in very good condition, one volume has two small, punctures to the spine. This is a very heavy set and will be expensive to ship. Very good/No jacket issued.
