Inner hinges are perfect. 4.75" wide by 7.5" tall. Bound in the original brown (terra cotta) cloth, lettered in shiny gold on the spine and with blind-stamped borders and ornaments on the front and rear covers. Condition would be FINE but for small chips at the head of the spine and light fraying at the foot. NO fading. NO owner's name or bookplate. Pages are clean, crisp, and free of markings. NO foxing. With 16 b/w illustrations. Original pale yellow endpapers.
