About Item: Random House, 1955. First Edition Second Printing. Hardback . Very Good/Good. 8x5x2. Douglas Gorsline. Vintage Cloth Cover Landmark Hardback Book with Dust Jacket. Book itself is in Very Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. There is the same name written twice once at the top of the page and once at the bottom of the page with the number 8 under the top name on the first end page. No other writing or markings in the book. Stated First Edition Second Printing. Book has come from a private collection and is NOT an ex-library book. Outside cloth covers show some soiling and some wear to the outside corners and edges. Dust Jacket is in Good condition with some minor soiling, small creases and tears and some heavier edge chipping with some small missing pieces primarily at the top and bottom of the outside spine.
