Octavo. xiii, 99pp. Owner's contemporary ink inscription on front flyleaf (written vertically, along inner hinge), edges of boards lightly sunned, a very good copy in good only tanned dust jacket with small blue stains on front panel, spine is tanned and chipped, short tears and shallow chipping on front and rear panels. "This is the first translation published in America of Arthur Rimbaud's great prose poem 'Une Saison En Enfer,' one of the landmarks of modern literature" (from the dust jacket). Limited to 780 copies nicely printed, by Edmund Thompson at Hawthorn House, from hand set text. Scarce in jacket.
