About Item: New York: Oxford University Press. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1950. First Edition. Hardcover. Blue boards, lettering on the spine in silver. From the library of Newbery Award winning author, Scott O'Dell. His distinctive bookplate is found on the front free endpaper. Sunning to the extreme upper and lower spine ends and board edges. There is a 1/4" stain to the lower, rear pastedown edge. It is otherwise quite clean and tight. The dust jacket is faded at the spine. Chipping to the upper spine end and upper corners. A 1/4" chip to the rear flap fold. Other minor wear to the jacket. Original price of $2.50 to the front flap. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
