Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound, internally clean hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, neat and tidy paste-downs; not ex-library, with neither highlighting nor underlining. Previous owner's inscription at first free endpaper, minor soiling of paper label title at spine, else decorated covers are quite nice, and interior is clean and bright. 108 pp. of text, and then an extensive range of xcii sharp and distinct black-and-white and duotone photographs. The Note notes that this is a translated version (presumably from the original French) of the manuscript by "one of the leading authorities upon the subject of the history of printed cottons."
