Softcover, bound in stapled orange wraps, titled and decorated in black on the front cover. The corners of the covers are lightly bumped. 7 pages. There is some offsetting to 2 of the pages apparently from some musical notations which had once been laid in. Very good. First separate edition of Henry Cowell's composition "Maestoso" after publication in the "New Music" quarterly.As per the biographical notes at the end of the composition: "Henry Cowell was born at Menlo Park, California in the year 1897. After having composed over one hundred works without instruction, he studied under Charles Seeger at the University of California, under R.
