There is no date of publication but it is likely to be 1939 as his role in the Battle of France is not mentioned. A slightly worn copy with tanning to the edges of the pages and there is a slight whiff of tobacco smoke. There is a sticker with the neat name of a previous owner at the head of the first page and a neatly penned book list at the back.
