Endpapers are illustrated with portrait sketches of the author and the climbers. Neatly written inked gift inscription to prior owner on half title page. All interior pages are tight and unmarked. Color illustrated DJ is original and unclipped - minor shelf/edge wear to head and tail of spine which is sun-darkened.
