About Item: No date but between 1922 and 1930. Signed "Finsen" on front board. ( From 1957 - 65 , he was the Director of the Union Observatory in Johannesburg ) This is his own copy and is annotated in pencil thru'out with dated observations and notes. In a pocket at the rear is a chart of the moon's visible face. New cloth spine and later printed title on spine. 33pp with star charts. I have a second copy, also signed "Finsen" without annotations and notes but otherwise very similar at 2/3 the price. INCLUDES loose 4pp biography on William Stephen Finsen.
