Completely clean inside and out. Text in Russian with 4 page English summary. English and Russian captions to the plates. Nikolai Nikolaevitsch Zoloterev (1915- 1989) was a Russian painter and set designer. His work in the theater included producing set designs for: the Stanislavsky Musical Theatre in Moscow, operas at the Bolshoi: Rimsky-Korsakov, and Giuseppe Verdi Il Trovatore, Rossini The Barber of Seville, Prokoviev's Semion Kotko, and the Story of a Real Man, Arthur Miller's View from the Bridge, at the Moscow Drama Theatre in 1959, Giselle at the Bolshoi, Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov, Tchaikovsky's Iolanthe at the Bolshoi, and the Queen of Spades, Bizet's Carmen at the Stanislavsky Theatre, among others.
