The Peep-Show Books. No date, but contemporary gift inscription is dated Aug 25th '25. A picture book and peep-show combined. Pictorial thin card covers showing a zookeeper with children looking at monkeys through cage bars - the bars are cutouts, one bar is partly detached and missing its outer layer. The edges and corners of the cover are a bit worn and a slightly grubby rear cover with finger prints and a rusty mark. The monkey picture inside shows through the 'bars' on the front cover. The story text is on the lower half of the inside and flips up to show the next animal picture through the bars. A little grubby inside. We also have 'A Visit to the Farm' in this series

The Peep-Show Books. A Picture Book and Peep-Show Combined. No date, but gift inscription 'From Auntie Reading Aug 25th 25'. Pictorial card covers show farmer and two children looking through a gate at pigs and piglets. 2 bars of the gate are partly detached, one missing a layer of coloured card. Covers are worn around the edges, fingerprints on the rear cover. The horizontal story text on the lower half of the inside flips up to reveal different farm animals to look at through the 'gate'.
