This includes the appendix which was added in the second edition. There are black endpapers, the first free endpaper being lightly chipped. There is moderate wear to the leather and about 1/8" loss at the top of the spine and 1/16" at the bottom. The corners are worn to a rounded shape and there is damage to pg viii where the page stuck to the previous page where there was no writing. the writing on pg viii is still readable..

Included is a photocopy of a letter signed by George Grosz showing his handwriting which is similar to the handriting on the postcard. The postcard is to Laura Monypenny, daughter of Professor Phillip Monypenny, professor of Political Science at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
