This three volume supp. was issued before the full 13th edition was printed. This volume is bound in black (or very, very dark green, can't decide which) leather, with gilt title & devices. Very slight wear at the corners, some wear to the top of the spine, and slight wrinkling to some pages. Evidence of a label removed from the upper outer corner of the back cover, leaving residue, and abrasion to the cover surface. Paper is the very thin stuff Britannica was fond of using. Some very minor rubbing to the covers, but looks very nice.; 9x11 7/8" .

The Encyclopaedia Britannica, London and New York, 1926,, 1926.. hardcover. VERY GOOD. The 3 supplementary volumes to the 11th edition that create the 13th edition. Very Good condition. Large green cloth hardcovers (8.6"x11.2"), gold lettering and bands on spine, "New Form" at bottom of spines; front cover has pale green icon and borders and title in small letters in top and bottom borders. Slight wear, tight bindings, no marks or writing. Lower outer edge of rear covers of vols 1 and 2 show faint dampstain and slight loss of color. Spines are about like new.
