There are also 8 tipped in plates of chalk drawings by Mr Swan throughout, including one of Daisy Ashford. Gorgeous tipped in colour plates by Jessie Willcox from The Water Babies (some creases), C T Nightingale from Tony O'Dreams, Madame Ozaki, Romances of Old Japan (some creases). Lovely full page b/w illustrations include work from Mabel Lucie Attwell, Harry Rountree, H M Brock, Arthur Rackham and Harry Clarke.
