Modern rebind which retains the original boards over a sturdy new spine; green cloth with elaborate tooled decoration in black, with title and decoration plates in black, red, and gilt. Cloth rubbed and edgeworn, frayed to corners. Inner hinges repaired with green fabric tape; binding now sound. Pages lightly soiled and foxed. Occasional remnants of erased pencil markings on blank pages, but not on pages with text or illustration. Else clean; all plates present.
