Original marching, full tree calf leather bindings, complete with folding map in volume I. xix, 289; viii, 289pp. Ex-library with bookplates and a couple markings, former owner's name on title pages. Covers show heavy wear on spines, otherwise moderate wear, still quite handsome, title paste-on missing from vol. 2, vol. 1 front cover just starting to separate along spine, all pages held securely. Folding map in very nice condition. Aside from scant library markings, pages are very clean. A very decent First Edition set of this very rare history.
