Cambridge, MA: University Press: Welch, Bigelow, & Co., 1870. Book. Poor. Hardcover. First Trade Edition.. 155 pages, 8vo. Very Scarce. First Trade Edition, following the Limited Edition of 250 copies. Includes one of the two large fold-out maps, found within pouch attached to back cover: Map of a Portion of the sierra Nevada adjacent to the Yosemite Valley. Map is in very poor condition, with many tears, some pieces are detached, tanning and foxing. Bound in original green cloth boards with gilt lettering along spine, gilt map on front cover. Heavy shelfwear: scuffing along edges and cover boards, pages are detached from the spine, very delicate and weak binding, foxing and tanning on page leafs, previous owner has pasted a title on seond page leaf. Volume is in Poor condition..
