Richard Jackson, Leeds, 1888. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: A Buckle; Stanley Medway; J A Symington. These two matching volumes were were published separately in 1888 and then in 1889. Both have dark red covers with gilt lettering and decoration and brown half-leather, marbled red end-papers. Both volumes are numbered as 20 of 300 limited copies. Covers are lightly marked and both have bookplates for The Honourable William-Thomas Orde-Powlett 1895 on inside of front cover and same name written onto reverse of front end-papers. Series One volume has front cover detached, spine has lost its leather surface, remaining card is unattached at top and base and is flapping from rear joint, rear joint is sound, internal binding is sound. Binding of Series Two volume is sound.
