Twenty-four verso-only leaves with twenty large full color illustrations by Louis Wain. Small closed tears to bottom edge of leaves 19 and 22, small tears to half title at staples, boards a little soiled, and scuffed at edges. Otherwise a very good copy of this extremely scarce Wain title. One of the more colorful Wain titles. "In 1910, Routledge published Two Cats at Large, a 'book of surprises, by Louis Wain, with verses by S.C. Woodhouse.' Two kittens, Albert and Tom, meet various strange-looking monsters on their travels, including the Gollifrog, the Grabberchox and the Salleyinouralleygator.
